Single Assessment Numeric Evaluation for instability as an alternative to the Rowe score

چکیده
BackgroundSeveral functional outcome scores have been proposed for the evaluation of shoulder instability. Most are multiple-item questionnaires, which can be time-consuming and difficult patients to understand, as well leading lack compliance. The Single Assessment Numeric Evaluation (SANE) score is a single question that has recently gained widespread acceptance based on its simplicity correlation with more complex scoring systems. purpose this study was assess new modified version SANE score, SANE-instability Rowe after treatment instability.Materials methodsWe prospectively evaluated consecutive series 253 (268 shoulders) treated surgically or nonoperatively instability between November 2017 2019, whom were collected before and/or treatment. assessed following question: “What overall percent value your if completely stable represents 100%?” Correlations tested using Pearson coefficient (r) interpreted very high (r = 0.90-1.00), 0.70-0.89), moderate 0.50-0.69), low 0.30-0.49), negligible 0.00-0.29). Subgroup analyses also performed observe variations according follow-up length (before at 6, 12, 26, 52, 104 weeks treatment), patient age (<20, 20-29, 30-39, ?40 years), type (nonoperative surgical).ResultsThe 0.85, P < .001). revealed 2 0.74); 6 12 0.66 r 0.57, respectively); then 0.75, 0.78, respectively) (P across all types 0.76-0.85), aged ? 20 years 0.80-0.86), 0.93) .001).ConclusionThis demonstrated significant treatment, groups treatments. Owing simplicity, could used an alternative various time points. Several We surgical). This

Correlation of Single Assessment Numeric Evaluation (SANE) with other Patient Reported Outcome Measures (PROMs)
Background: The Single Assessment Numeric Evaluation (SANE) is a simple, one-question patient-reported outcomemeasure (PROM). We systematically reviewed correlations between SANE and more extensive PROMs.Methods: We identified studies with correlation coefficients between SANE and other shoulder, knee, and anklespecificPROMs. We calculated mean, median and range across studies...
متن کاملMetabolite Parameters as an Appropriate Alternative Approach for Assessment of Bioequivalence of Two Verapamil Formulations
A bioequivalence study of two verapamil formulations (generic verapamil tablets and Isoptin® tablets) was performed by comparing pharmacokinetic parameters of the parent drug and its major metabolite, norverapamil following a single dose administration of 80 mg verapamil hydrochloride in 22 healthy volunteers according to a randomized, two-period, crossover-design study. Moreover, the feasibili...
